The Voting Member Registration Form includes a statutory declaration that the applicant is of good fame, integrity, and character. Membership is revoked if this ceases to be true.
Members must act in the public interest, comply with tax law, avoid conflicts, and notify IRTA of any regulator sanctions. Draft PDF: IRTA_Code_of_Ethics_v0.9.pdf.
The Disciplinary Committee investigates complaints, conducts hearings, and can impose sanctions up to termination of membership. Clause references will be added once the Constitution is final.
Any member in public practice must maintain PI cover that meets TPB thresholds and provide proof at admission and annual renewal. Draft policy: IRTA_PI_Policy_v0.9.pdf.
